Wednesday's Features!

It's our first day! Woo Hoo! I'm so excited! There are SOOO many cool projects to chose from.  But these are my picks for today!

Sewing:
I'm loving this casserole dish carrier from 2 Little Hooligans.  This is perfect year round, but if you are going anywhere this Thanksgiving take your dish in style!  Plus, I love the little slot for the spoon! :)

I think this is just too cute.  It's from Make it and Love it.  Plus her model is super cute.  I keep staring at it thinking, so could I pull it off?  :)  Maybe if I had the stripe leggings to go with it!

Do you have ugly friends at your house.  If not go to Simply Complicated and make your own.  I love the detail she put on the back!  We will be making these this week at our house.  And I love the fact that my son can design his own ugly friend!  {Whhhat? A sewing project that for a boy?  That's not PJ pants? Score!}

The stripes.  The ruffles.  The twist.  The fact that is grey.  And the back is just as cute!  I just adore this.  Jessica from Happy Together will probably be featured a lot because her clothes are AWESOME {make sure you read that in a sing song voice!}.  You have to check her out.

Keeper of the Cheerios is THE go to place for felt food.  She offers free patterns and also hosts a HUGE list of free patterns for tons of felt food.

Crafting:
For some reason right now I'm obsessed with silverware.  I just have to make these plates.  Poppies at Play has TONS of things I would like to add to my to do list.

P.S. this is what started me on my silverware kick
Thank you Pottery Barn for the inspiration.  No thank you Pottery Barn for the price.  Anyone want to paint them for me? :)

Aren't these numbers cool?  Can't Stop Making Things made them!  They belong in my living room.

I would love to have this in my house.  It's got such charm.  {Bonus points for that wall behind it!!}  If you don't read Remodelaholic you are missing out.  That's one talented lady!

Do you crochet?  I know how, but mine always comes out lopsided.  I always forget to count or lose track. :) But if I were good I would make one of these Sesame street hats.  I am particularly fond of Oscar.  Girl in Air did a great job with these!

Um can you say perfect gift idea?  I want one myself - but before I draw Joshua's silhouette he needs a hair cut.  Otherwise his head would look HUGE! :) Kelly your a genius.  Easy.  Budget friendly.  Super cute.

Printables

I love the colors in this.  I think that this would be so cute if it were ironed on a shirt!  Easy Thanksgiving Day wear!  Go thank Beckie at These Creative Juices.  And check out her linky party every Monday!

I'm a burlap freak.  And I like definitions.  So I guess I am a Webster loving Burlap freak.  And Jessica from Craftily Ever After totally helped me out.  Go print this now!

I know everyone is crafting for Christmas but are you all planned out?  If not check out eighteen25 to print yours out!  {And they are having an awesome giveaway right now from one of my favorite blogs!! Go check it out people!}

Cute huh?  I'm thinking Pie in a Jar {oh yes, keep reading} toppers.   From Two Peas In A Pod! Fabulous!

Simplebites offers a great Baking pantry must have list.  Tis the season!

Food

How cute are these?  Mini pots of pumpkin cream pie.  These would be perfect to send guests home with on Thanksgiving or put them on each plate as decoration for your table.  OR send them to school with the kiddos to hand out at school.  Either way your good.  Go get the recipe from the crafting chicks.

I would really like to make this cake for my son's boy scouts.  Too bad this week they were working on their nutrition badge.  I'm pretty sure this doesn't count as a 'green' food.  Shauna has a wonderful blog that you must look at!

Whipperberry offers a decorating with fondant tutorial if you would like to try your hand at a cake!

I made this apple stuffed chicken from Woman's Day the other night for dinner.  Perfect fall dish.  The apple cider makes the chicken so yummy.  Or maybe it was the stuffing.  I don't know but it was mmmmm.

Homemade Oreos?  Delish.  Fall colors? Cute.  Cute+Delish= fabulous combo in my book! Sew Totally Smitten really outdid herself with these!

There you have it.  20 things for you to do today.  Hope you found something you like!  See you tomorrow!

Amanda

P.S. I joined the blog hop over at Crafty Cierra!
